Solved: HQ-Q950T HDMI EARC port

Has anyone had an HDMI port changed. Someone moved my sound bar without unplugging the HDMI cable. Now i cannot get the Earc port to work. I can see it is damaged and needs repairing. Tried some local Audio Video stores but they are not interested in repairing it. Thought i would give it a go as i am not bad at soldering. Be a shame if i cannot fix it.

Guaranteed the cost cost repair will be high, this is what right of repair was supposed to resolve, not expensive items than can be repaired if the OEM provides the parts, otherwise its in the bin.

I'm currently in the same situation my car nicked the sound bar off and the hdmi port has spread surly using the Bluetooth the sound quality won't be as good
