So i have 3x standard Smartags so far never changed a battery in over a year, whereas my 2x Plus version barely last 2 mths.

How is everyone getting on with the Plus versions?

I have 2 x SmartTag+ - they were a Christmas gift to me in December 22 - and I activated them that week.

I have had one in my car from January to March - and I got the low battery warning. I changed the battery, but the one I removed still showed fully charge on my battery tester.

The second one has never left the house - it just came up with low battery warning - the same - battery changed and removed battery showing full charge on battery tester.

Batteries removed are iDE brand. I have fitted Energiser batteries - but in SmartTag+#1 the few weeks old battery is already down to about 60% and has not left the house. There is only 1 Samsung device in the house - my Galaxy Tablet.

I bought another 2 normal SmartTags a few weeks ago - they still show 100%.

What I cannot seem do do is register the tags for warranty - has anyone done this?

So I have just taken the iDE battery removed form the smartag+ which was showing low and red, and fitted it to a normal smartag, where it is showing 100%

I will keep an eye on it - but this seems very strange, The battery removed from the smarttag was manufactured by HenllMax I think it says.

So my smarttag+ #1 - battery was below 5% again - removed the energiser battery fitted on 19th march 23 - just over a month ago, shows 100% on battery tester, but low in smart tag - replaced it with another new energiser and showing 100%.

Smarttag#2 - also had new energiser battery fitted 19th March 23 - showing about 60%. Both tags have never left the house.

Smarttag#3 - which is a normal smart tag - activated around 01/03/23 - battery showing 100% - also has not left house.

Smarttag#4- again normal smart tag - activated around 01/03/23 - battery showing 100% - has been in my car.

Something weird going on with battery life in the smart tag + tags I think.
