Why doesn't the mileage and the MPH work on my galaxy active watch 2?

I recently brought the galaxy watch active 2 a few weeks ago and wanted to try using the cycling workout on the watch. I started cycling and noticed that the mileage and the MPH was not moving and not recording any information. The only thing it was doing was counting how long I had been riding for and in the end I had to use the cycling function on the samsung health app on my phone. I have looked online and not found a solution to this problem and other people have had the same problem too. Can someone help me solve this please?

I did looked at this discussion and they didn't work for me. I had put the location on and set it to GPS and wireless and still nothing but i did back up onto my samsung account and then reset my watch today and it worked 🙂
