Why Can't I Trade in My Galaxy Watch Active (1)?

Why am I not able to trade in my galaxy watch active 1 for the Galaxy watch active 2? Is this on purpose. Or might they allow for this option in the near future once the device is released and the first active dates more?

I spoke to the support team and there is a website they recommend where you can recycle the original Watch Active but I don't think the price would be as good as trading in... Worth a message to the support team
