Whatsapp Notification (Calls and texts) on Galaxy Watch 4G

Is it possible to get Whatsapp messages without a bluetooth connection to the phone?

I'm assuming no without a native app, if so can anyone recommend a workaround?

Whattsapp messages go through WiFi or mobile data. I dont know about Bluetooth?.... never tried it.
