WhatsApp messages are disappearing too fast or never showing - Galaxy Watch 4

Hello,

As the title says, I'm having this problem with my Galaxy Watch 4.

I cannot set the time for how long the messages will be displayed and often I don't even have the time to see the watch and the message is already gone. I feel the vibration and the screen isn't even showing anything.

This happens with other notifications too, but I notice it more often from Whatsapp just because I'm using it more often.

Right now I'm keeping on the wrist move wake up. The settings are all correct. I'm using Samsung watches since the first generation and this WearOS version is by far the worse software and battery Samsung watch I ever owned... but I still hope because I like it's design.

Please Samsung fix this and add an option to change the time the message will be displayed for.

My fix for now is to use a paid application, called Informer. I don't find it normal to pay 1500 USD for my S21 Ultra and 400 USD for my Galaxy Watch 4 and cannot even see my messages. Both being Samsung should work fine together, right?!

I'd like to inform you that this is the italian Samsung Community.

Due to the fact that you have an US product, as the exchange you mention states, I would strongly recommend you to contact the appropriate Community: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Community/ct-p/us

Consider that products for different world-areas may have different specifications, both hardware and software indeed.

It's the idiotic Samsung Members app that is placing my messages here, for the Italian community.

I was hoping my messages are reaching Samsung, this is why I'm writing in English. Sorry if my English was misleading for you.
I bought my watch on Amazon and it's made for Italy.
Every member of my family has now a Galaxy Watch 4 and the product is just bad
We're all having the same issues.

Samsung is more focused on launching new products instead of fixing and improving their current products.

Understanding this, makes me think if it is worth investing in Samsung products in the future.

I do not understand who you are Michele and if you're a Samsung representative.
I'm not sure how to reach Samsung about these problems.
I've sent email without any kind of answer.
I'm just giving up at this point and never buy Samsung again, seeing that my only answer received is to stop posting here.

Hi Taiji2078,

I feel your situation, truly.

However, as I mentioned before, products originally intended to operate in a specific world-area and brought onto another may result in unpredictable behaviour.

Also, I'd like to point out that a UE product used on a US area invalidates the warranty; or, more specifically, the warranty of the products, if needed, is not valid in your region, just in Europe.

For these reasons, I strongly recommend you to return the item to Amazon. For safe purchase, use your local and official Samsung Shop instead: https://www.samsung.com/us/
