Watch6 Classic connecting to Oppo

Hi everyone,

I have just ordered a Galaxy Watch6 Classic with 02 in the UK with a device plan with full intentions of being able to use this whilst away from my phone. I have since read on an old post on 02 website that I will not be able to do this unless I have a Samsung phone which poses a problem as I currently have an alternative Android.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case or will I still be able to link the watch to my current number/sim?

I can't not confirm this as I'm samsung phone & watch but someone on here was moaning about it and I can't see it being an easy experience. Cant say for sure so wait and see if more people comment failing that call up samsung and ask

Hi, I have a watch 4 and it connected to my old Oppo Find X3 Neo. It was fine except I couldn't carry out ECG as the Samsung Health App wouldn't download on to the phone. Good luck.

I have an oppo mobile and I've been having alot of issues with it disconnecting alot, meaning I'm having to reset it over and over.
