Watch Overheats While Inside

My Samsung watch which I loved using for training suddenly overheated and shutdown for no apparent reason, now it won't turn back on.  It's outside warranty so I'm not covered.

As much as I enjoyed using it, I won't be buying another one as I don't want to run the risk of it going the same way.

Shame really.

Hello @Talikarng and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

I'm sorry to learn of the issues your currently experiencing with your watch ️  😔

Which model of watch is this happening with 🤔

Have you tried a force restart ?

https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+to+Force+Restart+the+Samsung+Galaxy+Watch4

" To force restart a Samsung Galaxy Watch, you can press and hold the Home (Power) and Back keys at the same time until the screen displays "Rebooting...":

The length of time you need to hold down the buttons may vary by device, and it could take up to 30 seconds. Once you release the Power key, you can wait for the watch to reboot. "

Even if your watch is out of warranty it still maybe cost effective to let a Samsung Service Centre to have hands on.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
