Watch active issue

I had Watch Active for four months but have become very ill in September and unable to use it any longer. I gave it to my brother (who lives about 15 miles away) and he has reset it, successfully connected to an app on his phone and it works fine. 
Unfortunately it keeps beeping and sending multiple messages to my mobile asking for permission to connect. We tried everything but no success. Samsung telephone advisor gave my brother daftest advice ever; he suggested I talk to my mobile phone provider to disconnect watch from my phone.  Really....

I am however, fed up with endless bips especially as I am in hospital and it is so annoying.

Any advice would be very welcome

have you removed it from wearable app on your phone manage devices then remove
