Appears that the latest Watch 6 update changed the timer app. It used to continue vibrating until you stopped or reset it - very handy if you were preoccupied with something else when it counted down to zero. Now it only vibrates for 10 seconds. Can't find a setting to extend the vibration time. Very disappointing

@The Walrus: Please try heading to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Vibration, and adjust the duration and intensity from here. Also, select 'System vibration' and explore your options from here regarding actions that receive vibration feedback.

Thanks, but that only extends the vibration to 15 seconds. I prefer the old configuration where the vibration continued until you stopped it.

Yes, this new update to timer is horrible. There should be a setting for at least 1min. I had no idea of the change and I use this everyday. So first time after update I ended up going almost 10 min past a 1 hour timer I set. Also an update I would like to see is maybe a notification to phone when timer is done also.

I have the exact same issue and it's so irritating. I used it as a countdown timer for the gym but if I miss the initial vibrations i miss the whole thing. I've tried Google's one but it isn't as good and it also beeps when the timer goes.

They need to add a setting to allow us to have the vibrations indefinitely

Same here. I work in a research lab and used the timer app daily for experiments. That is until the update ruined it and I messed up multiple critical experiments as a result due to the unexpected changes. It also sometimes ends silently, then randomly goes off later and doesn't show up when I open the timer app. I have to swipe left until I find the notification, open that, which then opens the same timer app I was just in, breifly shows that the timer is WAY past its end time, then it suddenly straightens itself out and the vibration stops. This never happened until the latest update and now I hate my watch.
