Watch 6 Battery

Just got my new Watch 6 LTE this week and the battery is shocking. I have most features switched off and I'm still having to charge it twice a day to get through. Wearable App is stating 16hrs when fully charged. Spoke to Samsung who said to give it 2 weeks as the battery will improve. Does anyone else have experience of this as I've not seen anything of this on forums? My husband got a Watch 5 Pro the same day and he's only charged his once and his battery is saying 2 days when fully charged!

The lte regular models don't have the best battery life. My 5 pro will last 3 days but if I run it on lte I may last 1 day to a day and half. Are you using the watch on lte or Bluetooth? With Bluetooth it should easily last the day with lte it could struggle to make it to end of day depending on what your doing

I have it connected to Bluetooth primarily but hopefully, it just connects to LTE when my phone is out of range?. How do I switch off LTE and I'll try with that.

Been report by Sammobile.com that the battery is worse on the watch 6 than the watch 5 had when they were reviewing them. Say's it doesn't last the day

Great! I'm having to charge it twice in 24hrs! Rubbish 😪

Hi that's normal for the first week or so, I was getting less than a day battery use, then it went up to a day & a half now its at 2 days & 22 hours, I've turned of certain vibration settings & AOD, auto detect activities & active times but left on everything else like heart rate reading, Samsung health, Bluetooth, WiFi, LTE.
Once the Google play services calms down & stops draining battery it'll get even better, I went through the same process with my watch 4 classic 46mm LTE.
Just give it some time.
(I've also done a factory reset)

As default it should only go to lte when your out. You go into connections and set lte to auto. Don't turn it off as this is half the point of the watch and when you leave your phone behind the watch won't work. Just make sure it's not set to on otherwise lte will be on all the time

Yes unfortunately you would need the 6 classic or even better the 5 pro for good battery life 😒

No problem & your welcome, the highest my Google play services went was 34% it's down to 10% which is still high but it will get better over time.
