Watch 5 Pro not recording walking locations

Hi all,

So I have the Walking/Running workout set to auto detect and it works fine. I also have "Record Location" ON which, in theory, should turn on Location automatically when it detects that specific workout right? (I have Location OFF btw)

I noticed that it recorded a walk "workout" first time automatically and in Samsung Health it shows a google maps image of where it was roughly.

In the past few days though, it's not recording any location at all. It doesn't show any google maps image in the recorded walks. Any idea on why?! If Record Location is ON it should turn on Location/GPS ON by itself right? Bit confused here...

I think you may have to go to each app under settings /Apps, and give individual app permissions

It's just Samsung Health though right? It does have permissions. 

Could it be under Settings > Samsung Health > Privacy > Google Maps ? I think that's what it might be?? Pretty confusing as this should be by default

Sure, you have to give permission (my recollection all access) to both Apps

Try it out and see or if you find any other solution.. Please do share for the benifits of others
