OK so it's 3.30am and I'm wide awake because I've just been woken up to *excruciating* pain on my wrist as my watch 5 pro has just overheated whilst I was wearing it!
It was so hot I couldn't touch the base or screen with my bare hands. I honestly thought it was going to explode!!
I've been left with a red mark on my wrist and of course the watch is not powering on. I'm hesitant to try charging it as I don't want to set my house on fire, nor do I actually trust it now!
Anyone had anything similar? I've just booked it in for repair under its warranty, never had anything like it before in all my years of tech purchases.
It's not taken any knocks or anything. Only changes I've made on it are that a new watch face was installed earlier today on it.
(I couldn't for the life of me think of how I could show how hot it was with a picture. Considered melting chocolate with it because it would have sizzled through a bar quite quickly!)
