Watch 3 wont connect to Damsung health monitor

Having problems getting the new samsung health monitor to connect to my watch 3. Watch is connected by bluetooth to my S20,but can't  seem t connect the new health app. Keeps saying can't find the watch even though it's connected.  Any help will be appreciated  TIA.

It won't. The watch 3 runs Tizen as its operating system. The new apps Samsung have developed are for the Watch 4 which uses Wear OS a different operating system.

@Mike3: The Galaxy Watch 3 should be supported, so long as your watch and phone were purchased in a country where approval has been granted for it to be used as a medical device. If you follow the link below, you will find a step by step guide on how to register your watch with the Samsung Health Monitor features (ECG and Blood Pressure). Furthermore, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can find out more about which countries support the feature.
