View ongoing workouts in watch that were started on app

Hi.

So for the moment Samsung does not allow to add a external HRM to the watches (i have the active 2) but it is possible to add an accessory to the app itself. I can start a run on the app and get the HR readings from the HRM starp. But if i look at the watch... its nothing there. So is there any way to start a workout in the app and "mirror" it to the watch?

Sadly, not that I'm aware. I have a polar strap registered as an accessory but every time I do a workout and look at my hr data, it says "from active 2 (auto)" next to it. I don't think the app is even getting the info from the strap. It does say "connected to hrm" when I start a workout in the phone but apoarently, it's not talking about the external one but the one on the watch.
