Transferring a watch to a new phone fails at around 80%

When I try to transfer my Galaxy watch6 to a new phone using the Galaxy wearable app, at one point starts loading, says it can take a few minutes and a percentage is shown, but when it gets to around 80% (after about 90 seconds), it just goes back to the select bluetooth device screen, and the watch later says it failed. Both are connected to bluetooth and the same samsung and google accounts.

Hello @Members_THhIwPo , What phone are you using? From experience, if it isn´t samsung, it may start doing some wonky stuff or outright not pair. Also, if it is an older model, I´d reccommend you verify your android version and compare it with minimum required for the watch (with Watch6 it should be android 10, if memory serves).

 

Also, does any error show up, say, via "toast" pop up (gray-ish bar with white text shown on the lower half of the screen for a few seconds)? If so, what error shows up?

It's Galaxy A34 and it doesn't show any errors, it just changes the screen with a kind of swipe up animation. I moved some files via bluetooth and reset the watch, but even when connecting normally, it still fails the exact same way.

Good day,
First, please turn off bluetooth on your old device, if it is within range.
Then delete the cache and data of Wearable app and the Galaxy Watch 6 manager app.
Restart both devices.
Try transferring watch to your new device again.
If this doesn't work, I recommend connecting the Watch as a new device.

Pekný deň,
v prvom kroku prosím vypnite bluetooth na starom zariadení, ak je v dosahu.
Potom vymažte aplikáciam Wearable a Galaxy Watch 6 manager vyrovnávaciu pamäť a dáta.
Reštartujte obe zariadenia.
Vyskúšajte znova prenos hodiniek do nového zariadenia.
Pokiaľ by sa Vám to nedarilo, odporúčam pripojiť hodinky ako nové zariadenie.
