Too many floors

For some reason my Samsung Gear S3 frontier has started counting to many floors and I mean a lot  today I've only climbed up three flights of stairs but the watch has recorded 71, yesterday it was 105 and I didn't go up any stairs or up anything steep ,it's so annoying  I've tried switching the watch off but nothing is helping  can anyone in the community help please

Same here ...by the time I reach office it's already 23 floors...! and when the day it's 70 or 80...! ***** I hardly climbs 3 floors
