Third party watchfaces on Watch 4 (WearOS)

Will Samsung start allowing third-party WearOS watchfaces to link into Samsung Health to get data like steps, heart rate, etc, etc.

Or will have to install Google Fit and switch to that for complications to show information?

If they will allow would it be through API calls

Can't see why they wouldn't based on they did with Tizen, but do feel your frustration there

There is meant to be both a bug fix update anyday now and a feature update following soon according to several tech websites for the watch 4 series....for unknown reasons Samsung released the watches a week early....software updates should follow soon......

Yeh some features missing that were told would be there, no Google Pay installed and not sure if can override Samsung Pay when it is released.
No Google Assistant and same as previous need to be able to set as default.
No YouTube Music.
Must use Samsung Wearable as not in WearOS app
Blood Oxygen does not work.
Can use current WearOS watchfaces with Samsung settings and have to link to Google Fit.
No longer can use Galaxy Store
Watchfaces can't always be installed from Google Play on phone as say not compatible. Should work like other watchfaces.
