Strava Sync Issues

I connected Strava in Samsung Health and went for a run. Got back and it didn't sync. I can't see anything wrong with the setup. Does anyone know of any reason why my activities are not syncing to Strava?

Absolutely fed up of having to uninstall, reinstall, reset, reallow, resync everything to do with my Samsung watch and strava! What is the issue? Why can't you just just make it work and leave it alone???? Back to Garmin I'm afraid! 😡

Just had issue with my Strava activity not syncing and keeps failing when I try force sync so found this thread in a search. How annoying is it when someone posts their issue is sorted but doesn't tell you what fixed it! As for fdjk's screenshot, my SH was already set as that.

All of a sudden my Samsung Health doesn't sync to Strava anymore, but Strava data get synced to S Health, so there is still a connection between both services. Anyone with the same issue and the solution for it?

Same problem for me since a couple of days ago. Strava will go to Samsung Health (albeit after a very long delay) but Samsung Health to Strava isn't happening.

For me it's some activities and not others. Your activity must have GPS data to sync to Strava and activities such as stationary cycle etc wont sync by design either. Even when taking that into consideration some of my activities that meet this requirements don't sync.

Does anyone know of a way of forcing specific activities to sync or the strava sync to happen ? Even a log for troubleshooting would be good. I can't see anything in the UI (thanks samsung for dumbing things down to being useless as usual. You're  now as bad as apple)

Does anyone know if the sync occurs between the strava and Samsung health app or does this happen via the Strava API ?  I've logged a support ticket to Strava as hoping they can see some data at their end since samsung support are useless as usual.

Same thing happening to me. Most days it just disconnects, others it stays connected but doesn't sync. Either way, only way to get SH to share data with Strava is to reconnect after every activity. Sucks

I had the same problem, I followed different suggestions, but nothing. But then I noticed one little thing that solved the problem. After you install the strava app to your samsung watch, you need to connect to strava account. You follow the instructions on the website and then there are several check boxes for authorization. One is: Upload your activities to the strava. "This must be enabled. Otherwise, only manual activities are shared. Automatic dont shares.   Then only in the samsung healt application you enable sharing with strava and enable  gps ... and the problem is solved :). Everythink works great!

Mine is also logging out S22. Logged in again but does not sync with strava anymore. My experience is that it disconnects 12 times a year #garbage

I agree, fed up with doing this 12 times a year. Who do they think we are fools?

Will never buy a samsung watch again it cost my almost 600 USD galaxy3.
