So I bought a Galaxy 3 mainly to use Strava on to record bike rides.
It drains the battery within 4 hours which usually means a ride is lost.
I have removed all apps apart from Strava, all connectivity is switched off apart from location services.
I have already done a factory reset and the watch has been back to Samsung, not sure what they did but it didn't solve my problem.
What can I do to stop this battery drain? it renders the watch not fit for the purpose I bought it for.
Any advice/suggestions much appreciated. Am so disappointed by the watch!

Strava eats batteries whether using a watch tablet or otherwise. Doesn't matter if it's iPhone or Android. There are many complaints about this widespread issue.

Thanks for your response.
Strava doesn't eat my phone battery - Samsung S7 edge uses 15% in the time it takes the watch to drain.

I share your pain & frustration.
I gave up on my watch for Strava.
Wish I had an answer for you but nothing I tried solved it.
In fact tried it again recently, more in hope than expectation, and had same problem.
