Snore detector playback?

I know this is very nearly an FAQ, but I can't tell if the feature works or not because I can't figure out how to play back the recording. What I want to do first is confirm what I think I just learned.

Is it true that in order to play back the snore recordings, you must first dowload a third party app?

Hi, my watch 6 is set to record snoring, previously I could play the recordings back perfectly. Now they play back at four times normal speed which isn't very helpful
