My 46mm Galaxy "smart" watch keeps recording sleep in the middle of the day in the office while I'm working. Obviously, for periods of time, I'm not moving much when sitting at my desk, but I'm awake and not sleeping on the job
Samsung it's an easy fix. Use either GPS data or time of day to stop recording sleep in the middle of the day.
OR
When you record the sleep data in the middle of the day, send a notification. "DID YOU JUST HAVE A NAP". YES/NO.
I know I can delete the erroneous data but its a smartwatch it should know when I'm awake.

Yes, the sleep tracking while working at the desk is so annoying.
A super easy workaround would be to add a "Delete sleep" button while browsing the sleep data on the watch. It's hard to understand why nobody at Samsung figured that out yet - it's a basic use case scenario.

Same problem here. Never happens with gear sport.
