samsung watch 3 4g

My watch 3 4g comes up with device over heating and goes it to power saving mode after about 10 minutes on 4g/3g this then drains the battery to about 3 hours from fully charged. I have checked the latest update and I have reset the watch plenty of times and i still end up with the same problem is there any solution to fix this as its not what you would expect with a £450 watch, thanks

i left it for a few days after the first time it happened. its fine when its on bluetooth connected to my phone but when I leave my phone at home and its just on the standalone watch on 4g it happeneds

Sadly... i dont think you can use the 4g then

It’s to do with the 3G/4G signal strength.  The watch boosts power to the radio which in turn generates extra heat and triggers the overheating warning.

This problem has been around since the original S3 LTE version. 

All you can do is put it into airplane mode until you get to a better signal area.
