Samsung Tag Review

Update: 

So I tried to track the tag on my secondary going child and all though it doesn't live track for obvious reasons, it managed to give me an approximate location and I was able to sort of track them home to school and back.

So basically, if someone has a samsung phone around them, you get an approximate location which I think is cool.

Can't wait for the ProTag now, definitely gonna buy that.

Just curious if anyone has tried using the tag and would love some reviews on how well it works, and effect on battery life on phone if linked.

Also I would love to know if it would be able to track your kids from school and back.

The Ad shows dogs can be tracked.

I would presume the yet to be announced tag Pro might have the range.

the tags that are supplied at the moment won't give you live tracking data.
I've not noticed any battery issues with my phone

Am using a tag on my keyring with the Note 20. For me its very useful to have, allowing you to ring the tag from your phone, see it/navigate to it on a map (but not real time) and do a close range bluetooth signal search. It also allows a reverse find, and can make your phone ring if you double press the button on the tag. But to use that my experience has been you have to have already been logged into smartthings on the phone.
