Samsung Pay on Samsung galaxy watch 46mm SM-R800 from Romania

Hi, I bought this Samsung watch Sm-r800 and Samsung pay isn't in the apps. Doesn't allow me to download it too. Anyone experienced this too? I'm based in the UK and got this second hand and comes from Samsung Romania as importer. Any clue how to get Samsung pay to work on my watch? Many thanks

Try Below

Change your Google Play country

In a browser, go to
pay.google.com.

At the top, click Settings.

Under 'Payments profile', next to 'Country/Region', click Edit .

To create a new Google Pay profile and link it to a new country or region: ...

The Google Play Store automatically changes to the new country or region

As the watch is not a UK model, you won't be able to use Samsung Pay within the UK. You're only able to use the app within the region it is sold.

So this watch doesn't NFC? No way to change the software to ensure Samsung pay works for this watch? Thanks

I believe only galaxy watch 4 has NFC, this makes it for , Google pay , Samsung pay possible

It has the features, but you won't be able to use Samsung Pay within the UK, due to it being a non-UK model, as you're only able to use this within the region the device was purchased.
