Last Tuesday, I ran exactly 3.000m on running track. Samsung Galaxy Watch measured 3.29km. Which is +10% miss match. On Strava, I checked ‘Flybys’ and my all my competitors wearing Garmin, had much more accurate GPS close to 3km. Is this inaccuracy caused by Samsung?
This was a 3000m athletics competition. Runners were running in the same series at the same time in quick succession. The reference to compare is not the other runners but the track! Samsung GPS was worst in following this 400m track.
