Samsung galaxy watch

Hi. I’m not very tech savvy and struggling to find an online answer. My husband is on Vodafone and has a Samsung S8. I want to get him a galaxy watch for Christmas and I can get a good deal on EE as I can get a business discount. Will the phone / watch work in sync if they are on different networks? I.e will calls on his phone show on the watch? Thanks all.

Unfortunately not the phone and the watch needs to be on the same network. EE states this on their website

you can buy him a Bluetooth only one as a gift but if you want a cellular one I think it has to go down as a second line on his account meaning he will have to contact Voda to add it on (if he's the account owner)
