I had this happen with my previous galaxy watch so I tend to stay away from their silicone straps, stainless steel or leather are good alternatives:)

You think the strap makes a difference? I got Leather one shortly after I got my GW4 Classic, but the leather one still has a silicone at the bottom of leather strap

Is that the top of your hand in that picture?
If so then it's not the strap as that would be underneath, if it's not the strap I have seen another recent thread on these forums with the same issue.

My issue was the Sikicone strap material rubbing my wrist and causing burn like marks which were very irritable.

Try contacting @SamsungUK on twitter to get advice.

I have an apple watch and fitbit and their straps are the same as my galaxy watch 4, I buy silicone straps with breathable holes in. It's helps.
