Hi Everyone,
I am planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 with LTE/4G functionality to be able to receive calls on my smartwatch when I am not near my phone. As I don't want to have a second phone number, I want to use a second esim with a data-only plan for my smartwatch (no phone number connected to the sim).
Normally, when the smartwatch is paired with bluetooth or wifi, incoming phone calls on a phone can be handled by the smartwatch.
The question I have is if I can make phone calls with my smartwatch through my phone using 4G (as if it were paired with Wifi) - using the phone number that is linked to my phone (given there is no valid phone numer linked to the eSim). So this would look like Swartwatch --(4G) -> Phone -- > Receiver.
Looking forward to your response

Hello,
I do not recommend the Active 2 LTE. Using 4G will drain the battery within 2-3 hours and customer services repair suggestion is to connect it with bluetooth to save the battery. So basically feature is useless.
