WearablesHello everyone, I have a galaxy Watch 3 that I bought a couple of days ago, and I use a OnePlus 7 PRO 5G. The battery of the phone and the watch do not last me a day with Bluetooth on. So I want to use the both the watch and the phone with Wi-Fi on. On the Samsung website, they have the guide to sync your watch with all your Wi-Fi known. This avoids you having to manually connect to the Wi-Fi.
"Sync Wi-Fi profiles
During your lunch, you go to a local park that has Wi-Fi. Since you've been there before, your watch will automatically connect to the park's Wi-Fi network.
Open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then navigate to and tap Sync phone settings. Tap the switch next to Sync Wi-Fi profiles to turn the feature on or off."
When I go to the wearable app, there are neither option "Sync phone settings" nor "Sync Wi-Fi". The only sync options are for photos and audio. Have any of you come across this? I got in contact with two people in the support chat, but no one could help. Some solutions offered by the support staff was:
- Restart cellphone and watch
- Unpair and pair cellphone and watch
- Reset watch to factory
- Reinstall the Wearable app
- When manually trying to connect to the Wi-Fi, it shows the Network name, underneath it says (EAP) or (SIN). Choosing either options, it shows a blue and green spinning ring and "connecting..." It never stops...
