Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, Open water swimming is not tracking GPS

GPS works for other workouts and as I found that Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP) calorie burn is about the same as swimming I have chosen to track my SUP paddling as Open water swimming but there is no GPS tracking added to the workout.

I am missing something or is the GPS not active for Open water swimming?

The watch is (obviously) above the surface all the time and can find GPS signal.

It does not track swim distance after one ui 1.5 update. It track distance during running, walking but not at the swimming. Map shows the area where you swim but distance shows "0" meter. Funny. IT was solved before with an update and issue occured again with another update. Samsung should solve it. I tried everything but openwater swimming tracking, altimeter, floor count not working anymore. I am a user of Galaxy Watch 46mm.

Uhm, yeah, well that kind of sux... I have now used "running" instead and that tracks just fine but it won't really show the same calorie burn...

@Samsung should fix that!

Or better yet, add SUP as a workout profile!
