Samsung galaxy S3 watch LTE

I have added a watch plan on my galaxy 4g watch with EE. I am wondering what notifications should I be able to get on my watch if my battery has ran out on my s21 ultra and my phone is now off. Is it just calls? Can you receive emails, SMS , WhatsApp or messenger? Does my phone need to be on at a different location to get these messages? I'm new to the watch world any help appreciated.

please launch Galaxy Wearable on your mobile device, tap Settings → Watch connection, and then tap the Remote connection switch

then check options what needs to be activated
