Samsung earbuds not turning on

So I just tried to turn on my Samsung earbuds that I haven't used in a year and they just wont turn on they were working perfectly fine when I used it last time but they are complexly unresponsive now I cant even get the case to connect to the wearables app. any help would be appreciated.

I'm having same issue now with mine. They worked fine last time I used them which was about 6 months ago. Now all they do is charge but will not power on or do anything other than the green light in the case.
