"Auto Show Details" option for Galaxy Watch 4 is missing

Hi,

I just purchased a Galaxy Watch 4 and I'm trying to configure the notifications to automatically show the details of the notification by default (i.e.: pop-up on the watch screen), instead of just showing the orange circle on the left-hand side.   Apparently, there used to be an option called "Auto Show Details" under the Notification settings (for previous Galaxy Watches I believe), but I can't find that option for my watch.   

Any ideas how I can fix that?

Mine auto shows details but doesn't leave orange dot which is odd

Under notifications -> Advanced, there is an option to turn on the notifications icon

Same exact behaviour on my watch. Not sure what the deal is. I messed around with all the settings. No matter what, messages are auto displayed and I never get an orange dot. Even with that feature turned on.
