Yeah you do have to fiddle about with them a bit bit I had this with the Live until I got used to them. I've also put on the larger ear pieces to make a tighter fit.
I've not got any pros ( got buds + ) but looking at the pros , where the charging contacts are looks more chunky and sticks out further than the buds + so to me it looks like a thicker bud for your ear
