S21 Ultra and S3 Frontier watch will no longer pair and freezes on pairing mode

Not sure if you got this resolved but I had the same issue. I kept restarting watch a couple of times with no success, still got stuck on the finishing pairing screen. Restarted my phone and it completed pairing on the first try.

I am stuck on pairing my watch with my phone, I am stuck on this: 'Congrats on your new Gear S3'. I click on continue but nothing happens...I have tried everything that people have suggested, clearing the cache, switching off WI-FI, nothing gets me past this page...what more can i do?
