Has anyone thought of removing the shine from these buds? They almost look like jewelry and a matte finish, at least for me, would be more desirable. I'm curious, has anyone attempted to remove the shine. Any thoughts?

I don't think they'd hold well up to trying to remove the sheen @davehorne
I bought the black versions.
