Ongoing Notification Icons

How does anyone put up with these forced on to their Galaxy Watch faces when using certain apps and why do we not have the ability to turn them off ???

I understand where Barnie-UK is coming from. On the tizen based samsung watches you had much more control over the notifications settings you could even have it on a different part of the screen. For me it doesn't annoy me but I have found on the Google based samsung watches they have moved alot of the setting. One irritation for me is if you turn your wrist away the watch goes back to sleep so in which case what is the point of screen timeout. Hopefully they will slowly refine the watch and catch up with the old tizen ones

I would think it better for a manufacturer to just leave things alone if they work rather than mess around and make things worse, I totally agree they need to work on numerous annoying features, Ongoing Notification Icons is just at the top of the list for me personally.

Yea I know what you mean, to be honest there was nothing wrong with the tizen watches. Google doesn't really bring many benefits other than you can get few more apps on it

So it looks like the annoying little bouncing icons have stop working all of their own doing, can someone explain this to me ?
Really stable Watch OS, greatful for small miracles all the same.

Since last week the on tapping on the Ongoing Notification Icons, it is not launching the corresponding app.
Any workaround for this issue?

Sorry but I truely detest the icons so haven't tried doing anything with them.
