Hallo everyone! I'm looking for advice.. My Fitbit Sense 2 has issues and I have to return it. It's the last of its kind and I'm looking around. I'm not a major athlete, I love the Fitbit program for  fitness and wellness. The Pixel does nothing for me and I've narrowed it down to a Samsung Galaxy watch (7? ultra?) or a Garmin. I love the fact that the Garmin watch lasts for days and weeks they say, but I live the fact that SG has impedence, blood pressure and more. The SG7 just came out right? No word of an 8 around the corner? I really like the Galaxy, how is the fitness program? Thanks to anyone who will reply to me!💜

I have a galaxy watch 7, and it has so many cool features. The only thing is that the battery doesn't last much (usually around 2-3 days for me). However, it's quite fast at charging, so if the battery isn't a big issue for you, I recommend buying a watch 7.

Galaxy for good balance of smart features and sport metrics, best connected to galaxy smartphones and ecosystem (not for battery at all), garmin for battery and sensors/metrics/app (less smart even if the 8 is closer to smartwatch but costs +1100€..). Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra are actually the same except the materials and price. Battery is roughly same.
I'm a sporty person and wouldn't replace my Garmin Fenix, I own a 7 sapphire titanium now, and amongst others it lasts 21 days and looks like a...watch. I do t need a smartphone on my wrist so its basic smart features are OK to me, for the rest...I've the smartphone (S22+). If I had to switch to galaxy watch I'd buy a Ultra probably

Hello,

@StormyWeather, I am happy to find that you are considering the purchase of a Galaxy Watch.

As Giannix pointed out, keep in mind that to take advantage of some features, such as heart pressure monitoring or electrocardiogram, the Galaxy Watch needs to be connected to a Galaxy smartphone.

In any case, if you want to consider buying a Galaxy Watch7 you can view all the specifications on this page:

https://www.samsung.com/it/watches/galaxy-watch/galaxy-watch7-40mm-green-bluetooth-sm-l300nzgaitv/#s...

You can also view the Galaxy Watch Ultra at this link:

I remain at your disposal.

Bye!

Excellent thanks! I do have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 20 shouldn't have problems with the Galaxy Watch. I still can't figure out whether the Galaxy watch Ultra is identical to the watch 7 except for it's being bigger, chunkier and made of titanium. The specifics seem to be the same?
