Depends, both the Live and Buds Pro have multiple microphones on the outside, they're used for blocking noise as well as letting noise in, so if there's something wrong with them, it'd make sense for it to only happen when they're in use. I'd honestly either just ask Samsung to repair them or return them for a different pair
