I recently started getting the same thing. Eventually it seemed to be fixed after trying several cables. But then it stopped again a week later. I have 2 docks and neither work now. One flashes red, green orange once only (as with the OP) the other flashes red once. I used to be able to charge the watch from my S20 smartphone with wireless power sharing, but that no longer works either (for the watch).
