My Galaxy active watch 2 doesn't have Samsung Pay

I have recently bought a Samsung galaxy active watch 2, and it doesn't have Samsung Pay, despite that my gf does have the similar model, and pay functionality is present.  I have been told that it might due to region settings, which might be true since the first welcoming screen on watch was in Spanish.  The question is, how do I change the region?

Hi @victor361, as you suspect, if the watch is from Spain (and you're not), Samsung Pay won't work. The watch has to be from the same region it's manufactured for as your phone (for eg, you have to be in the UK with both products from there too).

I understand, but is there any way to change that? I mean, on apple watch, for example, you can do that easily from settings 😞 I also saw people reinstalling the os with another region

I have the same issue I moved to the uk...you need need make it possible just to change the region

I have the same problem and it is very annoying, you should allow to change the region.
