loosing Bluetooth conection

Please can anyone help. I'm on my 2nd Samsung galaxy active and even when my phone is in my hand I loose Bluetooth connectivity!

how old is the phone and are they both on the latest software possible?

New phone and watch about 6 months old. been doing it since I bought it and now on 2nd phone. All updates done, its clearly the watch

It's a known fault, makes no sense that Samsung haven't put it right. Was hoping for a few hacks as I've tried alsorts!
