Left Galaxy Buds Live disconnects

Brand new buds paired to an S21 phone; the left one disconnects whenever:

1. the track changes or 
2. you manually jump to the middle of a track

It reconnects if you skip to the next or previous track.

I have restarted the phone, deleted the BT connection and repaired, reset the buds etc. They work faultlessly when paired to a Motorola phone.

I have seen loads of disconnection reports but none that follow this pattern. Any ideas? It must be software related.

you could try resetting them? maybe try uninstalling the app also and maybe clear cache when booting to maintenance mode. another music app maybe?

let me know if it worked. i use the samsung music app mostly as it plays .flac files, I've not had any problems with it.
