GW4 Notification Digital Clock

When I receive a notification, I look to my wrist to read it. Instead of the notification I get a blurry digital clock obscuring the notification! Is there a fix or a setting for this horrible design besides needing to stop what I'm doing, reach over and and touch it with my other hand? This is not how WearOS has ever handled notifications and it's incredibly annoying. Defeats the purpose of a wearable if I have to use both hands to see what's coming in. If this is a privacy decision, it should be optional, and considering how

@clearlynotstefan: Head to Settings > Notifications > Show Phone Notifications On Watch, to set the conditions for receiving notifications while you're wearing the Watch 4. Also, select Notification Indicator > On to notify you of any unread notifications, and Turn On Screen > On. Does the issue persist with these settings in place?
