Following the latest update the biggest user of battery on my Watch 4 Classic is this app, which I've never noticed in the list previously. What does it do and why has it started using battery life?

Yeah, it was the same on my galaxy watch six, give it time & it will settle down.

OK, this is getting ridiculous. Google Play Services is using more and more of my battery, even when I'm only using the time-keeping function. It's gone from 50hrs+ to less than 40hrs. The only thing that has changed is the update. Is there any way to revert?
