I purchased a gear sport and after a light swim it got stuck in a reboot loop. I tried all the methods to try to fix this but I'm afraid the watch was no match for a swimming pool. It shows the reboot screen for about 5 seconds then powers off, it does this for a few minutes then it stops charging. I even tried putting it into a container of silica gel to help dry it and nothing changed. I've read a few others with the same problem the forums and NONE of them have been solved.

Ough, bad luck. My bet is that the guts of the Gear have been fried ^^' The best thing you can do is to send it to Samsung for the warranty. You can find the repair channels here:
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/mobile-device/
Please note that its only water proof until its damaged. If there are signs of damage the warranty will be denied.
