WearablesMy gear sport watch, which is around 6 months old, had started to battery drain every night. It happens at around 3am. The battery percentage is around 70% when I go to bed (10-11pm)
I know the time accurately because the sleep record and HR record switch off.
Has anyone else had this issue?

WearablesExact same problem here. Today it only drained 20%, laid down and within an hour it was another 20% down. Something is draining it fast, but only at certain times.

So yesterday I did the back up (didn't restore) and a much much better over night performance. We will see what today brings and another night cycle

WearablesHow do you do the backup? I can find where you can do a restore but I can't find where to do just the backup?

WearablesIt would be on your phone in the samsung wearables app. There will be an option to back up gear

WearablesFound it. It is under About Gear. I will give it a try as my husband and I both have the Gear Sport and this is very frustrating!

WearablesOne more reporting in. My watch have been draining overnight the last 2-3 nights.

WearablesReporting back in...I want to say that I tried the back up yesterday and last night when I went to bed my watch was at 92% at 1130pm and when I woke up this morning at 8am it is at 66%. It still took quite a bit of life but it did not die and I am able to use it today without charging it.

WearablesI have tweeted Samsung help UK. Not holding my breath. Informed them of this thread.
Have also backed up and rebooted but not restored.
See where we are again tomorrow

WearablesHi all.
Has anyone experiencing this been able to send some error reports with log files to the software team via the Members app?

I have done, they normally take ages to reply with not very helpful suggestions in poor English, so I'm not hopeful.

Wearables@AntS - how do we send these logs? As in,where do we catch the data from? For those of us not that techy minded
Thanks

WearablesYesterday I posted that I was having the same problem for two days.
Through Live Chat with Samsung, they had me do factory reset.
Last night I fully charged the battery to 100% before bed.
This morning I awoke and the battery was at 18%.
This morning on Live Chat, they said I could send it in to them.
I declined to send it in.
They moved me to Phone Support, giving me a new ticket number.
I've not called Phone Support. Maybe later today. I say maybe, because it sounds like the only solution they'll suggest if for me to send the watch to them, and I'm not really inclined to do that.

WearablesJust to add: I've also escalated this issue to my software team colleagues; and me or one of the other Mods will post any advice/updates on this one from them.
@Celiawheelia: There's a link in my post above to a guide on how to send logs through the Members app for Gear Watches.

They've totally ignored mine from yesterday so far

WearablesHappening to me since last 3 nights as well. Watch is totally useless now. My Samsung galaxy S9+ also drains around 30% battery at night all of a sudden. Not sure if this two are related.
