Gear sport Battery draining at night

My gear sport watch, which is around 6 months old, had started to battery drain every night. It happens at around 3am. The battery percentage is around 70% when I go to bed (10-11pm)

I know the time accurately because the sleep record and HR record switch off.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have a wireless charger that I have been using over night so don't know about phone night time battery drain on that but there are numerous mentions of this on this thread too.

Let's hope Samsung take notice.

I have tweeted Samsung help UK. Not holding my breath. Informed them of this thread.

Have also backed up and rebooted but not restored.

See where we are again tomorrow

They've totally ignored mine from yesterday so far

Right going to try a reset again, this time, I am not going to do any updates that it asks me to do, I will then check it again tonight and feed back, trying to determine if it is an app update recently done.

Will let you know tomorrow morning!

EDIT: The apps it is asking me to update are: News Briefing, Alti-Barometer, Reminder, Calendar, S Voice and Weather.  On my previous reset, I updated all except News Briefing and Alti-Barometer - as I don't use these, this time I'm updating none of them.

66% gone overnight for me. Samsung phone is on DND so it doesn't send anything to the watch.

DawnK,
I was thinking about exactly the same.

If it doesn't work, some of the apps you mentioned can be uninstalled too. I'll try it after.

What I can't understand why does my fiance's watch not have any problem???
