Gear S3 Sleep Tracking/Power Saving

I would like to track my sleep pattern but of course i don't want my watch to be dead by the morning or half way through the day.

Does the Gear s3 track sleep pattern/Movements when in power saving mode?

I was reading about it so apparently no, it only tracks steps the rest of the functions turn off.

you can't not in power saving mode because it defeats the purpose.
